About

Meet Aryel

I’ve always had a passion for helping others feel seen and supported. My own journey through infertility, holistic wellness, and motherhood ultimately led me to health coaching and a deeper passion for supporting women through their health journeys.

My Story

That passion led me to the University of Oregon, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in public relations and began a career rooted in communication, connection, and understanding people’s needs.

My own health journey, however, began much earlier. I was diagnosed with Scleroderma Morphea at just seven years old, a rare autoimmune condition that was poorly understood and difficult to treat. Even today, there is still so much that remains unknown about the condition. Growing up with this condition affected not only my physical health, but also my confidence and self-image, and it often left me feeling unheard and unsupported within the medical system. As I got older, I continued to navigate chronic inflammation, hormonal health concerns, and eventually three years of infertility. Wanting to better understand my body and feel more involved in my own care, I began exploring nutrition, lifestyle changes, and a more holistic approach to wellness.

That journey transformed the way I cared for myself. I lost 60 pounds, became more connected to my body, and eventually became pregnant with our daughter after making significant changes to the way I ate, moved, and lived. While every health and fertility journey is different, my experience showed me how powerful it can be for a woman to be informed, feel supported, and actively involved in her own care.

Becoming a mother deepened my passion for women’s health and led me to pursue health coach training and certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

I created Sol Bound Wellness to offer women the compassionate, whole-person support I spent years searching for myself. My goal is to help women through general wellness, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum feel more connected to their bodies, confident in their choices, and empowered to create realistic changes that support their health and their lives.

The Story Behind Sol Bound

Sol Bound was created from a desire to approach wellness with more intention, connection, and compassion.

The Meaning Behind the Name

Sol Bound Wellness was created around the idea of returning to what feels warm, grounding, and life-giving. “Sol” means sun in Spanish and represents light, energy, growth, and the natural rhythms that sustain us.

“Bound” speaks to both direction and connection. It represents moving toward a more nourished way of living while remaining rooted in your body, your values, and the season you are in.

Together, Sol Bound is an invitation to come home to yourself. It reflects the belief that wellness is not about becoming a flawless version of who you are. It is about caring for the person you already are with greater curiosity, compassion, and intention.

This is the heart behind the words, “Raw. Imperfect. Organic.” Health is not always polished or linear. Real life is layered and constantly changing. Sol Bound Wellness exists to honor that reality and help women create meaningful change without losing themselves in the pursuit of perfection.

Frequently asked questions

What is health coaching?

Health coaching at Sol Bound Wellness is for women who are tired of guessing, starting over, or trying to figure everything out alone. It offers personalized guidance, emotional support, accountability, and realistic action steps that fit your actual life.

Together, we will look at your goals, the patterns affecting how you feel, and the challenges getting in your way. My role is to help you feel more informed, confident, and connected to your body so you can make choices that feel aligned and sustainable.

Health coaching can also complement the care you receive from medical professionals by helping you prepare questions, organize your concerns, and feel more confident advocating for yourself. While I do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or cure medical conditions, I can support you in building habits and routines that nurture your long-term wellness.

Who is Sol Bound Wellness for?

Sol Bound Wellness supports women seeking guidance through general wellness, fertility preparation, pregnancy, postpartum, and other seasons of change. Coaching is personalized, so you do not need to have everything figured out before getting started.

How do I know which program is right for me?

Your program should reflect the season you are currently navigating. Nourished Sol supports general women's wellness, Blooming Sol focuses on fertility preparation, Growing Sol supports pregnancy, and Rooted Sol is designed for postpartum wellness.

Can you work alongside my other healthcare providers?

Yes. Health coaching can complement the care you receive from your medical team. I can support you in preparing questions, keeping track of goals, and applying provider recommendations to your everyday routines. I will not override medical advice.

How quickly will I see results?

Every person and goal is different. Health coaching focuses on meaningful, sustainable progress rather than quick fixes. Some clients notice greater clarity or confidence early on, while physical and lifestyle changes may take more time. Results cannot be guaranteed, but consistent participation can help you build stronger routines and greater trust in yourself.
